They really figured out how to monetize this place. While the farm is small, it is located directly at the fork between Halo Halo, Pastilla, and Lebkuchen so it does have a beneficial location if you are working.
I called the the IRS office in White Plains (they said they’re looking into it). Stardew Valley just might be today's foremost farming sim phenomenon, perfectly trapping the visual and spiritual essence of 16-bit era Harvest Moon, except with its own active. I’m sure they are declaring all this income (not). It was chaos with lines everywhere! $15 for a small personal pizza (cash only mind you) and $8 for a lousy cider pulled from a tap (again cash only). At Harvest Moon we grow crops like no other and remain one of the few privately-owned fresh produce companies in Australia, with operations in Tasmania. Ever wanted to live life on a farm, with nothing but the sun, the fresh scent of your crops, the muddy fields underneath, and cows and chickens to keep you. So for 4 people I paid $68 w/tax just to step on the property! Not to mention the bumper to bumper line of cars from the 684 exit all the way to the “farm” aka tourist trap scam.

Now it’s a $15 charge per person just to step on the property! Even my 4 year old we had to pay full price. What a cash grab this place has become! Pre-COVID you could drive right up and park.
